Will a breast reduction be covered by my insurance?
I have large breasts (34 F) the problem is, i have lost 60 pounds so life isn’t as….perky as it used to be. Ideally I want a breast lift, but I don’t have the money. How much smaller would they have to be if I got a reduction how much skin do they have to take? Are the scars much different?
In Canada Yes it is covered.
The amount taken is Dependant on the size to start but usually as much as possible.
You would still have greater than a CC Cup size from an F.
The scars also depend on the Dr. doing the procedure I have seen some that weren’t at all noticeable after a few years, and others who were.
no way in the us…its cosmetic.
It depends. If it’s for cosmetic reasons, then it would not be covered. If it’s for medical reasons, such as strain to the back caused by the weight, then there is a chance but it would still depend on the insurance company.
