its when they cut around the nipple and it looks like a keyhole. then they take the stuff out and close it up. apparently, it looks better b/c there are less scars
For the sake of this topic, I am going to admit to having had a breast reduction when I was 23 years old. I was quite well-endowed (something like a 36 Triple E or something like that),but my mom had insurance and I was a college student at that time living at home.
The insurance company had rules about how much needs to be removed to be covered by insurance (insurance companies WILL pay for REDUCTIONS but not enhancements). Even now, most insurance companies will pay for reductions if there is a medical need (posture, skin problems, pain, etc) that your doctor is willing to support as a need and there is a certain volume that needs to be removed.
I had 1000 mls removed from each breast (1 quart from each breast), and the minimum was 500 mls so I was double the minimum requirement.
I am so glad that I had it done.
Some advice:
#1 Go for an A cup or B cup. Your breasts will actually relax and get larger or rather more relaxed. I am nearly a C cup after getting the B cup dimensions.
#2 Take the recommended vitamins and medications faithfully as recommended and don’t play games (I DID get infection from playing games, but even then I would still have done it again as happy as I am with the results).
#3 The older a person is, the less scarring there will be. Young peoples skin actually retracts more.. more pull on the suture, etc lines. Older skin isn’t that taut.
#4 I have some fine line scarring but they have faded alot. I just turned 40 and I would feel comfortable wearing a bikini even having had the surgery. I have perfect shaped breasts (one slightly larger than the other.. but most women are slightly different in size, but I can wear a B cup for both sides without any difficulty).
If you are truely interested, find out from your insurance, if you have decent insurance I am sure it would cover reasonable needs. Also, the recovery time for such surgeries have drastically reduced with improved surgical techniques.
I had the keyhole style done. I like how it turned out. Basically the nipple is left intact, the tissue is released around it and tissue is removed below and brought up and reattached to around the nipple.
Here is what one website described:
“Anchor-shaped Breast Lift:
For women with larger or more severely drooping, sagging breasts, the anchor-shaped breast lift procedure is more effective.
The physician will draw a key-hole shape above the nipple and areola. At the bottom of the key-hole, he/she will draw an anchor shape from the right to the left side of the breast.
The skin in the (upper cross-hatched) area of the “anchor” will be removed along with some excess breast tissue. The nipple and areola are moved up to the (lower cross-hatched) “key-hole,” then the skin is sutured (stitched) around the areola, vertically down to the chest and side to side along the newly created bottom fold of the breast.”

Honestly, its better you consult a specialist to find out what’s best for you. I really want to help but I don’t think I can give better answers than specialist do. Sorry.
good luck
