What are your thoughts on breast implants?
Please only answer if you have had them done. I have had 2 children and breastfed them both. Unfortunately my breasts are not what they used to be and I do not like them at all anymore. I went down a cup size. I am considering getting implants and would like to know your experience and thoughts on them. I do not want to go up in size too much. Im a B and want a full C/small D.

ya, i don’t blame ya. saggy?
I know two women who have had breast augmentation surgery. The first went from 34AA to 34B. She has never looked back. 34B was the perfect size for her body shape. That was about 30 years ago. Recently, she had the implants replaced. There was some question about possible leakage after 30 years. Plastic does not last forever. The second went from 36B to 36D. Ten years later the second woman had them removed and went back to 36B but with a simple “lift” procedure to restore the shape. Removing the implants also relieved back pain that she experienced the whole time she had the implants. You might consider just a lift instead of implants. By the way, I learned recently from a fashion maven I know, that all Victoria’s Secret models are 34B, 34C, 36B or 36C without implants or surgery to alter things. If you want implants, go for it.
I had implants almost 5 years ago, for the exact same reasons.
The watchword is research!!
I recommend visiting http://www.justbreastimplants.com I found a lot of good advise and information on there when I was researching my surgery.
For me, implants were the best thing I ever did. I was a medium B before having my son, FF while I was breastfeeding (11 months) and a flat and saggy A afterwards. In order to find a good size, I used a method explained at the above website, which involves making small baggies of rice, which you then translate into cc’s of silicone. I measured my hips, then worked out how many cc’s I would need to make my bust measurement match. The result is a full bosom that doesn’t look top-heavy, as it balances with my hips. I ended up wearing an E cup, but it looks more like a D/DD, which suits my frame nicely. People are shocked when they find out I have implants, as they look (and feel) completely natural.
Go take a look on the site, and try out some baggies, they also have a section on their forum where you can ask questions and a qualified plastic surgeon will give you advise. Read up on the risks of the surgery, and the risks afterwards. Ask some questions, talk to women who’ve had implants, and ask questions of those who have had problems. Once you’ve actually made the decision to go ahead (you might decide it’s not for you after reading up) ask around for recommendations for a surgeon. A personal recommendation is worth it’s weight in gold! Then you can visit a couple of surgeons, discuss what size and type of implant would suit you, and how to have them placed (the array of shapes, sizes and placements is mind-boggling!)
Once you’re certain that you want to go ahead, book yourself in
I have never regretted having implants, and for me the benefits outweighed the risks. Only you can decide if it’s the right thing for you.
Good luck x
