Difference between Chest Reconstruction and Breast Reduction?

Is there a major difference between chest reconstruction and breast reduction? I’m FtM, and a supportive parent and I are trying to get insurance coverage. It would probably work for breast reduction. I know they reposition your nipples in reconstruction, and I’m trying to gauge how weird it would look if they didn’t, and if there’s anything else that’s really different. Sorta weird, I know.

Have you ever gotten a breast reduction or lift? What do I do with my large chest?

How was your experience with a reduction or lift?

My breast are DDD. They hurt my neck and affect my posture. They are saggy and my skin is very loose. I can pull on it and lift an inch of extra skin. It’s horrible. I desperately want a reduction and lift but I my husband and I haven’t had kids yet. What are your opinions on this? Do I have any other options? (I am not over weight)
