My dog had breast tumor removal surgery yesterday. How long should I wait to change the bandages?
She is a chihuahua. She had surgery to remove two breast tumors yesterday. One of the cuts ends above her vagina and the end of it is visible in certain situations. How long should I wait before I disinfect and rewrap her wounds? Her stitches are due to come out in two weeks.

Your vet should have already given you all information for caring for your dog. If you do not remember or they did not give you info, call your vet and ask.
Ask your vet,but I would wait at least three days,unless the incision gets weepy and soaks through the bandage,or begins to smell bad.Is the dog on antibiotics?
