Looking for good plastic surgeon for a breast reduction?
I just relocated to the las vegas area, and i am searching for a great plastic surgeon for a breast reduction. Any info. good or bad would be greatly appreciated.

I’m sorry, you said reduction… you meant implants, right? Don’t do it!!!
Get a recommendation from your MD. There ought to be lots of these in Las Vegas. But be very careful, make sure they are really plastic surgeons. Any M.D. can hang up a shingle declaring to be a “plastic surgeon”. Check to see if they have hospital privileges. Some have an operating room right in their offices, beware.

You can also look to see who is covered under your insurance plan. If you go outside your coverage you would pay more out of pocket. (For ex, my ins company paid 100% of my breast reduction. If I had gone outside my insurance plan I would probably pay for half of it).

The BHO site is a very good board when researching and dealing with pre and post op newbies (as we at BhO call our reduced breasts).
I live in Australia but I am having a reduction in 5 weeks time so I know a little bit about this. My surgeon is a “Mr” and not a “Dr”- I’m not sure if in America it is the same as here but a “Mr” is higher up, more qualified than a “Dr” and nationally recognised too. Try looking for a forum or chat online which may help you to find other women who have had reductions.

This site and this particular link has hundreds of before and after photos of women who have had reductions- it is an American site so you may find some surgeons who are based in or close to Las Vegas and you will be able to see their work.
Some surgeons have free initial consultations so have a look around and meet with a few different ones until you are happy with their priceing, experience etc. Try and get a surgeon who operates in reputable hospitals and not just from his own clinic. My surgeon only uses the “Le Jour” technique for reductions- there is less scarring involved and quicker recovery time, but it is a harder technique to perform so if you find a surgeon who can do this then they are obviously well qualified and experienced.
