Is a breast reduction worth it?
I am a size 40 L and I am looking into ending my constant back pain and my doctor suggested a breast reduction. Those of you that have had it done can you tell me if taking such a drastic step would be worth it?

only if the other guys make fun of you
Breast augmentation is VERY stupid but breast reduction is usually a necessity for ladies like you, in my opinion.
I can’t imagine the back pain you have to deal with everyday. I assume your breasts also limits your body movements like running and jumping, both physically and psyhologically.
I heard breast reduction is a lot painless and easier than breast augmentation. And heals very fast. If I were you, I would probably get them done.
Good luck, lady!
YOU are relatively small… My wife had cancer, and they did surgery on ONE breast – a ‘lumpectomey’ – or whatever they call it… She IS a ‘survivor’… but, one is HUGE… and one is STILL much larger that 40L…
GET some advice from a DOCTOR… they asked my wife if she wanted a ‘reduction’… at the TIME… all we wanted was her to be ALIVE… and… MORE than 10 years… that’s another ‘milestone…’…
P.S.
They ‘taste’ the same.. there’s just MORE of ONE to ‘play’ with….
Hope this helps…
i have never had it done obviously because i’m male but if it causing you a lot of pain you should definitley go for because it will change your life.
yES YES YES. WHile I hate my scars when I go for my mammo and ultrasound they are much easier to read. Go for it I did I went from a ddd to a 40 c.
If they are causing you a lot of back pain then got for it. It is all about how you feel, but if i were you i probably get it done. Especially if they are restricting your movement or interrupting your everyday life.
if you are in that much pain and your doc recommends it, then yes, you should do it. i know of one person who had it done. she was also in so much pain, the discs in her back were being damaged. she is better now and feels better. think of how taller you will stand too! without the weight in front, you will feel exactly like a weight has been taken off you.
A reduction is totally worth it, especially if you have back pain.
Two years ago today I had it done to me and I’ve had no regrets.
I had a reduction in Sept 2006 and I have no regrets at all. You will have permanent scarring, but to me it was a small price to pay.
Good luck.
