How painful is breast augmentation?
I was considering getting saline breast implants under the muscle and would love to hear about recovery from anyone who’s had this done. They’re not cutting the muscle but separating the muscle fibers. Can I be back to work in 5 days without lifting? Thanks!

I had a reduction, it did not hurt one bit but the breasts did feel very hot, tummy tucks hurt like hell, I rather have all my teeth pulled then get a tummy tuck again.
You will be sore for a few weeks, not able to lift. But the result is worth the effort

It’s still major surgery. I doubt you’d be back in 5 days.
i bet it hurts like giving birth (not that i have given birth) but i bet its on a parr with that. i suppose they put you to sleep so its numb anyway.
Pain is on a sliding scale… 5 days back at work with a new pair? I doubt it… but probably less pain than giving birth or having a penile augmentation. Got to be much less pain than both being done.
I don’t see why people are always seeking stuff like this. What’s wrong with being who you are, as you are? Why do people want everything so fake nowadays?
I knew a girl that had it done.. she was not back to work in 5 days.. it was almost 2 weeks before she managed to get out of bed.. the pain was so bad that she slept only 2 hours a night because every time she moved she would wake up in pain and she developed depression from the pain and fatigue..
In the end she said it was worth it but never again would she go through that much pain
I had breast augmentation 5 years ago, it feels like a mack truck smashed into you the first day….but all that goes away the next day. It’s amazing how fast your body heals after major surgery. If this is something you really want, you’ll do it no matter what. The “after” results far outweigh the pain anyday! Choose the right doctor, one who will consult for free, show many before and after pics, and one who takes the time to really talk and LISTEN to you. My consult was 2 hours and no pressuring what-so-ever! Good luck.
PS. By the way, I was out of work 5 days, but shopping at the mall after 3 days!
