How long is the process to get a breast reduction if in the military?
I am in the military (AF) and I was wondering about how long the process takes to get a breast reduction. For instance, how many consultations will I need with my PCM in order to get referred to a plastic surgeon? Will I have to go speak with a psychatrist first?

The military is not the place to get TAXPAYER subsidized cosmetic procedures!
The military actually pays for that?
Wait till you are a civilian again and pay for it the way the rest of the citizens pay for it……with a combination of insurance and your own money.
It depends on what size breasts you have and also if you have documented problems caused by your breasts. Such as, back and neck pain, rashes, shoulder indentation, headaches and many other things. I am a 38DDD and my PCM told me her could get me approved (my husband is active duty Marine). However, when he was on recruiting duty we were seen at a civilian doctor and I asked for a reduction and TriCare said I was not large enough! But, when we got stationed at Cherry Point my doc said he could get me approved no problem because he got another woman who was smaller than me approved. I think as long as your doc is actually on base it is easier for approval. Stupid, but true. Good luck.
p.s. A breast reduction is a MEDICAL procedure not cosmetic!! And the men and women who serve this country deserve the BEST medical treatment out there. They are fighting for your freedom! Civilians are not paying for our insurance! The military members work hard and put their lives on the line so shame on you for saying such terrible things!
