How bad is the pain after Breast Reduction surgery? (for anyone who has ever had it or known someone who has)?
I am scheduled to have my breast reduction surgery in 2 weeks, i want to know what to expect. so if anyone can please tell me about the pain and discomfort, and how it was afterwards and anything else to expect I would highly appreciate it!
my friend had a big breast reduction. They gave her pain meds. She said that it did hurt pretty bad she didn’t have problems when she was walking but she didn’t let people hug her or anything. She used loose fitting clothes so that there was less pressure
Typically, the full recovery period isn’t complete for at least 6 months to a year. Pain medication is typically required, but compared to other plastic surgery procedures, its very manageable. Generally, the pain lasts for about 2-4 weeks, but strenuous activities, like heavy lifting, etc. should be avoided for about a month or more
