Have a few questions about breast implants/augmentation?
I’m thinking about getting breast implants but have a few questions. First, I heard the implants can be placed behind or in front of the pectoral muscle, but what differences does that make? How many weeks do you have to take off, estimating? And how good do those implants last? Do you have to get them replaced and such? Your answers will be appreciated, thank you in advance.
I use to work for a plastic surgeon, but this was in the 80′s so things may have changed a bit. But what I know is that he use to put them under the chest muscle if the woman was extremely thin or petite. It looked more natural on that body type. Couple days to a week of work, depending on how you feel. The implants he used lasted a lifetime, they do not need replacement unless there was a rare complication.
Breast implants can be placed either subglandular (under the breast tissue) or submuscular (under the pectoral muscle. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. If you’re looking for a more natural breast appearance, with just more size, then you may want to consider submuscular. Subglandular implants are the ones that look very round and firm, because essentially, they are filling up the loose, soft breast tissue. Some people prefer this look. The drawback to going submuscular is that it will make your chest feel very tight and it can hurt a lot. This is because the implant is being forced under the muscle. I can’t imagine that being very comfortable, because basically the muscle is being dislodged by a large implant.
Talk to a doctor who performs this type of surgery and get all the information you can. Find out what to expect. As for healing time, you will likely need a good solid week where you’re off your feet and resting. It will take a good month or more to heal up from the stitches, swelling and bruising. The result will be well worth it though!

I Wouldnt do it, i know someone whos inplants burst and she has to get them re done and its cost her a fortune, got loads of scars and really regrets it, so if i was you i wouldnt:/
Please do not get breast implants, they will not improve your quality oof life in any way, you may think that they will improve your confidence, but actually confidence is psychological and unless you change your mindset you will not feel any more confident. Breast impolants always look fake and are so obvious, people will almost always take you for a stupid, ignorant bimbo who is only concerned about her looks. Find a better way to spend the money, you are so lucky in your life that you can even consider getting breast implants, give some of the money to charity, invest the money, spend it on someone you care about. Read the book ‘uglies’ and the book ‘pretties’ and also ‘specials’. I am sure that this will put you off surgery. And finally, the most beautiful women in the world are natural, and people who get cosmetic surgery look like blow up dolls.
