Has anyone successfully nursed after they have had breast augmentation?
I have had a lift and implants two years ago, thinking I was done having kids. Now, due with my third, I desperately want to nurse, but don’t know how plausible it will be. Anyone have experience or suggestions?

It is possible, though you won’t know until you try. It is largely dependent on the type of incision made to place the implants. If you were cut around the areola, you may have nerve damage that could hinder breastfeeding.
It would be a good idea to contact a lactation consultant now to discuss possible challenges before baby is due.
Good luck!

The same exact thing happened to my cousin. She had an oopsie baby after getting implants and she had no problems breast feeding. As long as your surgeon wasn’t careless and caused damage and as long as you were able to breast feed your first two children, you shouldn’t have a problem with the following child. Congratulations on a lifetime of happiness with your new baby! I’ll pray he/she is happy and healthy.
