Do you think its wrong for a teenager to get breast implants?
My dumbass sister says shes going to get breast implants. Shes a size b and they look perfect as they are.
I even told her this despite the awkwardness of it. She still wants to get implants though. What can i say to her to change her mind.

I doubt you’ll be able to change her mind, but you can always find and give her as much information as you can find on it, so she will make an informed decision. I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure she will need your parents approval to get them.
well if shes really unhappy and is going towards suicide then maybe yes. but if not then she should be happy. a size b is normal size like me!, and if she wants to get them for more attention then she is wrong and stupid.

The fact that a teenager wants to change a part of herself shows how shallow the world has gone. There’s not a lot you can say if she’s her mind made up, but I would ask her why she wants to go through such an operation for the sake of something that people won’t even see on a day to day basis. Having big breasts is seriously overrated. I don’t know anyone that thinks its such a big deal.

Yes, I do think it’s wrong. Being a teen, her body still hasn’t fully developed yet & she’s probably thinking with her hormones not her head. Personally, I think she should give this matter some serious thought instead of doing something she may regret later on.

I think that it’s wrong for any woman to receive breast implants unless she has a valid medical need for doing so i.e. disease or disfigurement
I also think that it should be against the law to perform elective cosmetic surgery on a minor for reasons of vanity alone
Hopefully she will meet only board certified plastic surgeons who will properly refuse to operate on her.
