Could a breast lift/reduction be covered by insurance?
I have back/shoulder/neck problems
and DD cups
What process would I have to go through to ensure that it would be covered?

check with your insurance company to see if its covered. If it can be shown it is for medical reasons (ie relieving pain) it maybe covered
The doctor will have to submit a request to the insurance company, for starters.
Then the insurance company will mail it back and say, “no way,” so your doctor will resubmit it. The second time, the insurance company might ask for documentation of medical problems (back pain etc), so if you’ve been to another doctor for these problems, get this documentation!!!!
At this point, your doctor will probably have to talk to a doctor or nurse who works for the insurance company and try to convince them to pay for the surgery. Generally, this is where you get the final answer.
Usually, 95% of the time, the answer is no. Good luck.
Yes it can, insurance covered mine 100 per cent.
First you need to find out if you need a referral from a family doctor, or if you can see PS’s on your own. See at least three. The PS’s will fill out the necessary forms and take pictures and your symptoms down (back pain, grooves in shoulders, etc) and hand it in to the insurance company.
Good luck.
