Can you still breast feed after having a breast lift and augmentaion?
I’m 19 and I have a deformity on my breasts, I really want to get cosmetic surgery to fix it as soon as I can afford it, however I;m worried about what will happen when I get pregnant, if I can breast feed amd the fact that my breasts will grow much bigger with the implants I would already have and I’m not sure if they will look good after my breasts go down later. Does anyone know anyone who has had a lift and implants before they had children? and they breatsfeed successfully? also how they looked after? I’m just not sure if I should wait or not, but I’m so self contious I’m not even sure I could “make” a baby cause I would be to embarressed of what I would look like…. You woman out there hopefully know what I am saying!!!!!
typically after a breast reduction the woman cannot breast feed. if you get implants and the implant is under the muscle you can breast feed. if the implant is on top of the muscle you cannot breast feed. you can always speak to a board certified plastic surgeon about this or even a lactation consultant. lactation consultants can help women to breast feed in certain situations such as am implant. good luck!
I have breast implants and had milk production after the birth of my son. However, since my implants are of silicone gel, I chose not to breastfeed him, fearing he might ingest some of it. Women normally lose some volume in their breast size after breastfeeding, so I think you should wait until after having a child for the best cosmetic outcome.
Your way to young, just do what I do , Leave the bra on at all times if possible … but if your partner loves you as much as my hubby loves me , he wont care … trust me we have two babies …just wait until after your done having kids … because your breast will get milk and stretch out again ..
