Can you have a breast reduction while on your period?

I know that your breasts are supposed to swell during your period(I don’t know if mine do or not)…

I’m supposed to have a breast reduction surgery around the time of which my period is due to start… I was wondering if this would affect anything… The outcome or the pain afterwards… Can my breast reduction still be done? I suffer from extreme back pain and I really don’t want to wait any longer for this…
