Can breast implants affect hearing a heart murmur?
Hey guys! I got a breast augmentation just a month ago and my doctor now hears a murmur but only when I lay down. Is there any chance that the implant is making the sound or that the implant is blocking the sound when I stand up so she can listen?
I didn’t have a murmur before the operation. Two years ago I had an echo and an EKG…normal
yes, if the implant is large enough. but if your doctor really heard a murmur, it would most likely be something that you already had even before you had your operation. if you or your doctor aren’t sure, he/she can probably do some tests
Well when my sister got breast implants hers squeaked for a few months, then the noise stopped.
