Can a breast augmentation tht went bad kill you?
I have a friend who got a breast augmentaion in 2003 and last February her doctor advised her that one one the silicone was leaking and this would be crucial to her health possibly death. At the time she had procedure done she did not purchase the insurance that was offered to her, and now her insurance will not cover the surgery as it is considered cosmetic, can you please advise of options she has if any.
She’ll just have to have it removed and pay for it. Infection & blood poisoning could be fatal.
If it is leaking into her body, it can be fatal. Google sepsis. A small infection in the body, if not treated, can spread through the blood and cause multiple organ failure and death.
